Enviro Hygiene Specialists Ltd. is the largest Irish owned company providing specialist air duct and canopy inspection and cleaning services to all facilities containing ventilation, air conditioning, clean air and process air systems.

Enviro Hygiene’s clients include pharmaceutical, healthcare, construction, semiconductor, chemical, food processing, manufacturing, educational, administration centres, hotels, supermarkets and restaurants.

We are currently recruiting for an ambitious mechanical/building services technician. We shall provide in-house and external training to develop the individual into a specialist indoor air quality technician and project manager.

The long term goal is to develop this division of the company and presents a fantastic opportunity to a suitable individual.

Duties and responsibilities will include but is not limited to:

• Air duct and plant inspection, risk assessment and certification.
• Kitchen Canopy, duct and fan fire risk inspection.
• Surveying duct systems for quotation purposes.
• Project management of pre-commission duct cleaning works and specialist work.
• Generate method statements and risk assessments for specific sites.
• Generate ventilation system Hygiene Monitoring programs.
• The ability to manage multiple teams if required.
• Adhere to company and client’s protocol and policies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to challenging deadlines.
• Confident in dealing with complaints and customer service issues.
• Maintain van, equipment and all company assets in good condition at all times.

Requirements:
• Minimum technicians certificate in building services, mechanical engineering or similar.
• Be physically fit and capable of working from ladders and in confined spaces.
• Full clean drivers licence.
• Fluent English (both written and oral).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Be computer literate and competent with word and excel.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to challenging deadlines.
• Work a reasonable percentage of nights shifts and be available to work nationwide with overnights.
• Be available to work on short notice, particularly weekends, if required.

Looking for a Technical Documentation Controller

Enviro Hygiene’s clients include pharmaceutical, healthcare, semiconductor, chemical, food processing, manufacturing, educational, administration centres, hotels, supermarkets and restaurants.

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Documentation Controller, Possibly a graduate engineer / technician with some site / drawing office experience 2 – 3yrs.

The position requires a person to have:

  • A HVAC background, preferably in the area of ventilation.
  • A sound understanding of HVAC Ducting Layout Drawings, differentiate HVAC systems and the take off quantities.
  • Worked with specifications and be able to extract scopes of work from same.
  • Excellent computer skills, in particular Microsoft word where working with tables of content, tables, formatting and layout is essential.
  • Generated technical reports, proposals and presentations. We require someone to generate and review HVAC Inspection and duct cleaning reports, approve the content, format the reports, insert recommendations and costs before for issue to client.
  • Drafted method statements and risk assessments.
  • The ability to draft quotations, terms and conditions.
  • Work with bespoke HVAC Hygiene software – training provided.
  • Integrate into a team and work closely with the scheduler, team supervisor and managing director.
  • Full driving licence and be willing to attend site for surveying if required.
